Medicines are rarely used for pre-hypertension.You can do many things to help control your blood pressure at home, including -1. Eat a heart healthy diet including potassium and fiber.2. Drink plenty of water.3. Exercise regularly for at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise a day.4. If you smoke, quit.5. Limit how much alcohol you drink.6. Limit the amount of sodium (salt) you eat.7.
